Want to achieve an NVQ Level 2 and NVQ Level 3 in Engineering?
Want to gain practical, hands-on experience, and get a competitive wage?
Applicants must hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C, or equivalent, including Maths, English, and at least one Science-related subject. AS/A Level passes in Maths, Science, or Technology are desirable, as are individuals who have some work experience within an Engineering discipline.
We are interested in applications for first year Apprentices, but equally we are interested in applications from 2nd/3rd year Apprentices also who would like to transfer to our programme.
The ability to work at heights and/or in confined spaces is a pre-requisite, and applicants must not be colour blind. Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be flexible to work outside of “normal working hours” if required, and have the ability to travel to work at client locations.
Apprentices should demonstrate a keen interest in Engineering and in their studies. GES Group offer advice, guidance, and regular one-to-one mentoring sessions with an NVQ Assessor, as well as a structured review process. Apprentices are expected to participate fully in their own development. Attendance at college and the workplace are equally important. Apprentices are expected to achieve and maintain sound academic standards
