Overview

We are looking for experienced, hard-working, and motivated individuals, who are enthusiastic to work within the fast-paced Engineering sector.
Working Hours: This role is full time (38 hours p/w) with potential for overtime, and 29 days holiday per year, inclusive of 8 statutory holidays.

Essential Criteria:

Applicants must have the below essential criteria:

  • Qualified / skilled in the use of manually operated machines such as Lathes, milling machine, slotting machine, vertical borer, Vertical Drills etc.
  • Experience / qualified in the use of calibrated measuring equipment such as micrometers, Vernier calipers etc.
  • Applicants must be flexible to work outside of “normal working hours” if required and have the availability to travel to work at client locations.

Desired Criteria:

We are particularly interested in applications from individuals who have work experience in an industrial/repair environment; working with electric motors/generators, and general rotational machinery.

Experience & Skills:

We are looking for experienced, hard-working, and motivated individuals, who are enthusiastic to work within the fast-paced Engineering sector.

The successful candidate must be able to work within a team, and possess good communication and literacy skills. The successful candidate should aim to broaden their knowledge and understanding, and work efficiently and accurately, with a high level of dependability, being able to meet deadlines, complete paperwork, and follow detailed instructions. Good IT skills are preferred but not essential.

Description

For this role you will be responsible for drawings, plans, construct, assemble, manufacture, and fit parts of machines. This applicant will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing different types of machinery and be skilled in the use of manually operated machines such as lathes, milling machine, slotting machine, vertical borer, vertical drills etc.
