Power & Rotation
GES Group Services
GES Group have been an AC/DC rotational machine specialist since 1972.
Our Engineers are highly trained and our workshops are fully equipped to install, maintain, repair, service and re-manufacture low voltage and high voltage equipment and machines, such as turbines, motors, gearboxes, generators, alternators, pumps etc. from fractional horsepower to 10MW/13KV, both in-house in our fully equipped facilities and in situ on-site. GES Group are the official and only distributor and repair agent for Brook Crompton motors in NI and the Republic of Ireland, and we are proud to be independently verified as a Brook Crompton Drive Engineering Centre of Excellence.
GES Group are equipped and trained to provide a rapid response in reactive, emergency and breakdown situations, and we increasingly provide Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Programmes for clients to improve efficiency, increase bottom-line and reduce plant failure rates and downtime. Specialist COMPEX trained Engineers also means we are equipped and approved to repair and overhaul motors used in hazardous areas and explosive atmospheres.
Irelands 1st Servo Motor Repair Centre
We are proud to announce our new purpose-built Servo Motor Repair Centre at our Mallusk facility. We have invested over £100,000 in specialist training and technology to provide our customers with a high quality, and local service.
- The repair of servo motors requires specialist Engineers, knowledge, equipment, and test facilities, which we have invested in to provide our customers with a local repair solution.
- All AC/DC Servo repairs are tested both statically and dynamically to ensure proper operation. Feedback encoder systems are set-up and calibrated to the correct angular position, and brakes are tested to ensure they are achieving the required holding torque.
- Our new facility has the capability to repair Servo Motors from many leading manufacturers, including: Nidec-Control Techniques , Siemens, ABB, Fanuc, Lenze, Mitsubishi, Yaskawa.
- To find out more about this new service, contact Ray McHugh, Mallusk Workshop Manager, on firstname.lastname@example.org.
