The Ballymena Business Excellence Awards have grown from strength-to-strength each year, with annual growth evident in interest, applications, and attendance at the Gala Awards Evening, which is held in October each year at the Tullyglass Hotel. The awards represent a diverse range of businesses, from retail to manufacturing to the services sector, showcasing the best that Ballymena has to offer.
As a previous winner of Apprentice of the Year 2012, Apprentice of the Year 2013, Employee of the Year 2013, Training and People Development 2015, Business Growth 2015, Innovation 2016, and Commitment to Ballymena 2016, we know a thing or two about the entry process, and the benefits to business of aiming for, and achieving, award success.
For 2017, we decided it was time to give back to the Business Excellence Awards and the local business community, by sponsoring an award. Lorraine Farrell, GES Customer Relations Manager, attended the launch of the awards programme on Tuesday, 25th July 2017, where Chris Wales, Business Development Manager for Ballymena Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said:
“Chamber will be employing Insight Mystery Shopping to carry out the judging, and the Tullyglass House Hotel, an excellent facility we are fortunate to have in Ballymena, will again be hosting the Gala Evening on Thursday, 19th October. I am confident that this will be another brilliant evening”.
