Ballyclare RFC was delighted to have the floodlighting upgraded on their training pitch, courtesy of local business Hagan Leisure Ltd.
The training area at the club is the most used pitch area at the club, utilised for Youth, Senior and The Clare Hares (Special Needs) training, five nights a week during the season.
Mr Hagan said “I fondly remember my years spent playing at Ballyclare and am pleased to be able to support the Club upgrade the excellent facilities at The Cloughan”.
Sam Hagan was accompanied on his visit by Ballyclare RFC Chairman Aran BlackBourne who continued “ The Club is extremely proud of Hagan Leisure Ltd as it’s principle sponsor. The Hagan Leisure logo is on the front of the Club’s playing shirt worn by all teams within the Club. The support afforded by Sam’s company and all our sponsors is very much appreciated and vital for the Club to fulfil one of it’s primary objectives of providing rugby for all in the local community”
“GES Group have been a long-standing sponsor of Ballyclare RFC and were honoured to be invited to design and install the recent LED lighting upgrade at their training pitch. The new LED lighting has received remarkable feedback since installation from both the players, club associates, sponsors and other clubs across the country. The training numbers have dramatically increased in the past few weeks with more and more spectators attending to support the club.
A special mention must go to Hagans Leisure who worked closely with GES and heavily supported with funding the LED lighting upgrade. GES Group have since been approached by the club to put a design proposal across for their Main Pitch LED Lighting Upgrade. There’s a massive energy saving incentive to do so for the clubs main pitch, with up to 60% reductions in energy usage based on the original technology. Ballyclare RFC are leading the way with reducing their carbon footprint by carrying out ongoing energy savings projects. All GES works; from technical design, professional installation and compliance testing were carried out in house and we look forward to doing more great work with the club”.
