About the Apprenticeships
GES Group Apprenticeships include a 4 year Training Programme. plus 1 Junior Engineer year, with the aim of becoming a competent and qualified GES Group Engineer. Join us and you’ll combine College-based learning with hands-on, practical training, gained through working alongside our skilled Engineers.
Positions Available
- Electrical Engineering Apprentice – based in Ballymena
- Mechanical Engineering Apprentice – Mallusk
- Electrical Installation Apprentice – Ballymena
Applicant Information
You must hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C, or equivalent, including Maths, English and a Science-related subject e.g. Physics, Technology etc. It is not a requirement, however, it may be beneficial for applicants to have A Level passes in Maths, Science or Technology, or to have Engineering-based work experience.
You must be able to work in a team, and have good communication and literacy skills. You will need to work efficiently and accurately, broadening your knowledge and understanding of Engineering. We will depend on you to follow detailed instructions to deliver high quality work, to tight deadlines, completing paperwork accurately.
