Essential Criteria:
Applicants must hold:
*A higher-level qualification in an Engineering field, and/or with at least 3 years relevant experience within the
Engineering/Manufacturing industry may be better suited to the role.
*ILM Qualified
*Incorporated Engineer
*Qualified in IOSH Managing safely.
*A minimum of 5 years previous project management experience.
*Previous experience managing installing and Commissioning LV distribution panels as part of a project.
Desired Criteria:
Applicants must have excellent communication and organisational skills and must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including the use of Management Information System software (Pegasus Opera III preferred but not essential as full training will be given). This is a diverse role that is suited to an individual skilled at multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities, as well as both internal and external relationships. Experience in HV desirable, however full training can be given
Experience & Skills:
The post holder will have a strong electrical and construction background to provide project engineering support for electrical engineering activities. The focus of the work will include the delivery of projects, overseeing project planning and control of the budgets set. In addition the post holder will be required to manage contractors on a daily basis with a prime focus on safety whilst adhering to industry best practices and GES procedures.
It should be noted a flexible working pattern (incl. weekends) may be occasionally required to meet the demands of the projects.
