One of the Groups valued customers who provide Total Waste Management solutions to large scale industry, public authorities and waste companies based in the Republic of Ireland had request GES Group to overhaul 2 of their larger motors. Part of the equipment used in the process is their 900kw fan drive system consisting of 2 x 450kw ABB motors both connected to a single fan unit.
GES were asked to carry out the overhaul programmes within 5 working days to accommodate the shutdown window available to the site staff.
The work was completed on time and within budget by our Mallusk team.
