Croke Park, Dublin. Ireland
Our customer, who look after the maintenance at the Croke Park Stadium in Dublin, approached GES with a problem involving their 380KW pitch aeration fan unit.
The unit is located in an internal building with limited access and therefore removal of the motor or fan would not be possible without major works on the building. GES were asked if replacement of the motor and fan pedestal bearings would be possible in-situ. GES sent a team to site to carry out this work within the 3 day window allocated for the job. The motor and fan pedestal bearings were successfully changed and the motor – fan re-aligned and test run.
The fan unit is crucial to the operation of the stadium and our customer advised they were extremely pleased with the outcome and the professionalism of the GES team.
