The Group were heavily involved; alongside one of the largest technology suppliers; in the new facility upgrades to help achieve energy savings for the cold storage site in Antrim with increased storage capacity.
The works carried out by GES Group to achieve this are detailed below:
- Install New MV Transformer on the site to supply a larger range of supply. This included the laying of the HV cables underground to connect to NIE substation.
- Upgrade the LV panels in the switch room.
- Install new control panels in the cold storage room.
- Installation of reefers onsite for the customers heavy goods refrigeration vehicles.
- Installation of new switchgear in the cold storage new unit.
