Our customer was extending their kill line, for this to be accomplished successfully, the building contractor needed 2 walls knocked down to carry out steel works for the new build, but there were 6 panels mounted on these walls and they all had to be removed from the walls for the building works to progress.
GES Group had a week to trace all the circuits and label up cables in preparation for the shutdown. We had to relocate these panels about 25m away on another wall, we had to reroute around 60 cables and install containment, mount the panels and reconnect all cables all in 1 weekend ready for Monday morning.
We completed these works on Sunday afternoon and had all cables tested & machines all tested and ready to go!
Our customer lost no production and the building contractors were able to carry on with building works on the Monday morning as planned.
